At Illussion-6, I was invited to create a project that celebrated the idea of “LA FIESTA”. So, I set up my multimedia portable studio and I invited few participants to exchange their clothes while I took photographs of them in the process of undressing. I downloaded the pictures to my computer and projected them as animation throughout the event. The exchange was to celebrate the unspeakable desires of what it is like to see yourself in someone else clothes. Well, it can be candidly embarrassing, funny and liberating – a good antidote for life!
The performance project lasted 4 hours and took place on June 1st, 2007 at the Mission Cultural Center, San Francisco.
